Technical Assistant (Naval Architecture)

Responsibilities

• Prepare, revise, and maintain vessel and offshore drawings using AutoCAD .
• Assist with technical and commercial consultancy projects and deliverables.
• Support DP FMEA/FMECA Verification Trials and related reporting activities.
• Assist in conducting OCIMF OVID and IMCA CMID inspections.
• Prepare technical reports, documentation, specifications, and project records.
• Coordinate with clients, shipyards, vessel operators, and third-party stakeholders.
• Provide engineering and project management support to ensure timely project delivery.
• Maintain project schedules, documentation, and progress tracking.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Marine Engineering, Naval Architecture, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD is essential.
• Ability to read and interpret vessel drawings, P&IDs, GA plans, and technical schematics.
• 1-3 years of experience in a marine, engineering, or technical support role preferred.
• Knowledge of DP systems, OVID, CMID inspections, or marine consultancy services is advantageous.
• Strong organizational, communication, and report-writing skills.
• Willingness to travel when required.
