Head of Accounting and Reporting

Responsibilities

• Lead all accounting, tax, treasury, and cash management activities across multiple international entities and jurisdictions
• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes, ensuring timely and accurate reporting across global operations
• Ensure compliance with local statutory, tax, audit, and regulatory requirements across multiple countries
• Manage treasury operations including cash flow forecasting, liquidity management, banking relationships
• Strengthen internal controls, governance frameworks, and finance policies across regions
• Partner with senior leadership on financial planning, operational initiatives, and business performance
• Coordinate and manage relationships with external auditors, tax advisors, banks, and regulatory authorities globally
• Drive process standardization, automation, and scalability across international finance operations
• Build, mentor, and lead high-performing regional finance teams

Requirements

• 12+ years of progressive finance leadership experience
• Strong expertise across accounting, tax, treasury, and financial controls in multinational environments
• Experience managing finance operations across multiple geographies and legal entities
• Deep understanding of international financial reporting, tax, and compliance requirements
• Proven ability to operate effectively in complex, fast-moving organizations
• Strong analytical, operational, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent leadership and stakeholder management capabilities
• CPA, CA, ACA, or equivalent qualification preferred
• Experience in high-growth, multinational, or private equity-backed businesses is a plus
• A pragmatic and execution-oriented finance leader
• Strong commercial judgment combined with operational rigor
• Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution
• Someone who can build structure, improve processes, and drive accountability globally
• Collaborative leadership style with the ability to work effectively across cultures and regions
• Strong written and spoken English
• This is a hybrid role with three days in our Amsterdam office.
