Established A1 Main Contractor Basic up to $10,000 (Depending on Experience) + VB Working location: Headquarters (North-East Singapore) Working hours: Monday to Friday (8:30am to 6pm) Our client, a reputable A1 main contractor in Singapore, is seeking an experienced Technical Manager to lead technical planning and engineering support during the tender and pre-construction stages of building projects. This role is responsible for driving constructability reviews, buildability assessments, construction methodology development, tender planning, and technical proposal preparation to ensure competitive, compliant, and high-quality tender submissions. Working closely with the Tender, QS, BIM, M&E, Design and Project teams, you will identify technical risks, develop practical engineering solutions, optimise construction strategies, and contribute to the successful delivery of complex building developments from the earliest planning stages. Job Responsibilities: Lead technical reviews of tender drawings, specifications and contract documents to ensure completeness, compliance and constructability. Identify technical risks, design inconsistencies and construction challenges, and propose practical engineering solutions. Develop innovative construction methodologies, buildability strategies and value engineering proposals to improve project efficiency and cost competitiveness. Prepare construction sequences, method statements and execution strategies for tender submissions. Evaluate site conditions, logistics, temporary works requirements, access constraints and construction feasibility. Develop tender construction programmes, identify critical activities and recommend optimum sequencing to meet project milestones. Coordinate closely with consultants, architects, engineers, QS, BIM, M&E and internal project teams throughout the tender process. Prepare technical queries (RFIs), technical submissions and presentation materials for management review and client presentations. Support quantity surveyors by providing technical assumptions, methodology inputs and construction planning for accurate costing. Work with the BIM team to develop construction simulations and visual presentations where required. Identify long lead materials, plant requirements and procurement risks during the tender stage. Ensure all tender submissions comply with project specifications, authority requirements, buildability regulations and company standards.
