As a Supplier Product Quality Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of purchased components throughout the procurement and product lifecycle. Ensure the quality of purchased parts within the procurement process, guaranteeing compliance with defined quality requirements Secure product quality from initial sampling through to series production Approve components within sampling processes (e.g., PPAP) Manage and follow up on supplier complaints (e.g., using 8D methodology) Initiate and track improvement measures to sustainably enhance supplier and process quality Collaborate closely with Purchasing, Engineering, Production, and Logistics to ensure supplier product quality Support quality assurance activities for new components and product launches Monitor quality KPIs (e.g., PPM, complaint rates) and derive targeted actions Drive continuous improvement (CIP) across the supply chain Support Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and ensure quality throughout the entire product lifecycle Education Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
