Responsibilities

  • Provide front-line support on live equipment, working alongside Maintenance Technicians during breakdowns.
  • When a conveyor or sorter stops, respond quickly, follow direction, and play your part in getting the system back online.

  • Support new equipment installs and system upgrades as the site continues to scale.

Requirements

  • Mindset over background:
  • A genuine interest in engineering and how systems work under pressure.
  • Comfortable in a hands-on, physical role where no two shifts are the same.
  • Someone who stays calm when equipment stops and focuses on the fix.
  • Communicates clearly on the shop floor, especially during live issues.
  • Willing to learn quickly, take feedback, and apply it immediately
  • Desirable (not essential)
  • A qualification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
  • Experience in a maintenance, production, or operational environment.

At Frasers Group, our Maintenance Engineering team keeps the operation running in real time. We're looking for a Support Technician to join the team. This is an entry route into engineering where you'll contribute from day one, working on live automation with experienced technicians around you, people who will step in when it matters, but also expect you to step up. You'll be working on high-volume, automated systems, conveyors, sortation, and storage technology operating at scale.
