About the role
The 3D Graphic Designer is a combined role of 2D and 3D motion graphics design. This role is a key resource for contributing to the creation and development of visual product compositions and labeling production intended for Market driven packaging and digital platforms. You will provide design and production support to the Packaging and Labeling Design Manager to ensure that work is performed in a manner that is safe, effective, and compliant with regulated procedures and company policies. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: - Under minimal supervision, collaborates with internal stakeholders regarding creative direction, graphic design, and specifications on final delivery of 3D projects for product commercial readiness. - Build accurate 3D models of physical products and apply realistic materials, colors, and textures. - Follows Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) to ensure high quality of work and regulatory compliance. - Protects sensitive and proprietary information, including but not limited to unreleased information about product properties, product launches and formula ingredients. - With minimal guidance, ensures file management system complies with internal Standard Work. - Stays abreast of new technologies and proactively presents recommendations to leadership. - Maintains the Image Library and keeps all assets up to date. - Reports all foreseen issues or challenges to leadership promptly. Job Requirements: Education & Experience Requirements: - Bachelor's degree plus a minimum of 2 years in 3D Modeling and Animation, Graphic Design in 2D/3D space, Computer Animation, or a related field or - High School diploma or Associate Degree in Media Arts degree plus a minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience required including 3D modeling, animation, and product visualization. Skills & Abilities Requirements: - Advanced proficiency in industry-standard programs such as 3D Studio Max, V-Ray, Solid Works, 3d Modeling, Adobe Creative Suite, After Effects, CAD Tools, MSFT Office. - Must be proficient in PC environments but also very comfortable with Macintosh OS. - Good verbal and written communication skills in English required. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team under tight deadlines. - Excellent time management and proven problem-solving skills. #LI-JN1 Operating Company: Kerr Envista and its family of companies (Envista) will not accept unsolicited resumes from any source other than directly from a candidate.
