About the role
We are recruiting a Clinical Pharmacist (Independent Prescriber) to join our London team. This is a role, you will work 2-3 days (including the evenings and weekends) in our London office located in Kings Cross. You will play a key part in prescribing and reviewing cannabis based medicines for patients with complex conditions. Responsibilities
- As an On-Site Clinical Pharmacist, you will:
- Clinically check and review CBPM prescriptions for safety and accuracy.
- Prescribe medicines as an Independent Prescriber, tailoring treatments to individual patient needs.
- Provide expert guidance to prescribers and patients on treatment options.
- Maintain accurate patient records in line with GPhC standards.
- Support the dispensary team by handling complex clinical queries.
- Deliver education and training on CBPM to patients, clinicians, and staff.
- Collaborate with the wider team to streamline processes and improve outcomes.
Requirements
- GPhC registered pharmacist with an Independent Prescriber (IP) qualification
- At least 2 years prescribing experience
- Experience working in a clinical setting
- Knowledge of CBPM is desired not essential or willingness to undergo specialised training
- Clear and confident communicator across clinical and non-clinical settings
- Highly effective at managing time and prioritising competing demands
- Proactive and resourceful when identifying and resolving problems
- Well-organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage complex workflows
