Job Description: Job Description Summary To provide specialized services and support for the campus food pantry operations, ensuring an organized and student-centered environment that promotes food security. Description of Duties and Tasks Assist with daily pantry operations, including greeting and supporting students using pantry services. Provide information to students regarding pantry procedures, eligibility, and related Basic Needs resources. Review and process student check-ins and maintain accurate usage data in tracking systems. Stock shelves and monitor inventory levels; report shortages or excess items to the supervisor. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pantry, ensuring compliance with food safety and sanitation standards. Receive and organize deliveries, including lifting and moving food boxes up to 40 pounds. Assist with outreach activities and pantry-related events as needed. Support the collection of data for reporting purposes. May provide guidance to student workers or volunteers assisting in the pantry.
