The Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) Construction Manager is responsible for analyzing electromechanical and special installations for hotel construction projects, verifying compliance with project technical specifications, hospitality brand standards, and Mexican legislation norms, as well as elaborating, controlling reports, and monitoring contractor performance, recommending actions for continuous improvement. The MEP Construction Manager works across mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and special systems disciplines and is responsible for direct, day-to-day monitoring of the work site, ensuring alignment with hotel operational requirements, guest experience standards, and project delivery timelines. Education/Experience: 10 of professional experience with a minimum of 5 years working as a Project Manager or MEP Construction Manager coordinating MEP design and construction on hotel, hospitality, or mixed-use developments (including resorts, business hotels, or luxury properties). Bachelor's Degree in Electrical and/or Mechanical Engineering. Experience with electrical systems, HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, life safety systems, BMS (Building Management Systems), and hotel-specific systems such as kitchen equipment, laundry facilities, guest room controls, and back-of-house operations. Commissioning experience is required, including testing and balancing, system integration, and readiness for hotel operations opening. PMI certification is a plus. Experience in LEED or sustainable hospitality projects is a plus. Fluent in English and Spanish to lead project team meetings, issue written communications, minutes, reports, and coordinate with international hotel operators and stakeholders. Knowledge of Microsoft Project and Primavera P6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools. Knowledge of AutoCAD and BIM platforms.
