Senior Enterprise Security Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a methodology for managing cyber security technologies
• Lead the installation, decommission, and maintenance of security applications/tools
• Provide support on a rotational 24/7 coverage schedule as assigned
• Conduct testing and create recommendations for security technologies and their configuration
• Design and implement security tool performance monitoring to ensure system compliance
• Provide technical direction regarding IT Security standards for infrastructure configuration
• Create processes / metrics/reporting on security technologies and applications
• Coordinate cyber security technology remediation efforts with multiple stakeholders to ensure security compliance
• Maintain and expand knowledge of security technology's, threats, and vulnerabilities
• Provide guidance and support to members of the security team
• Always take action using Integrity, Caring, and Excellence to achieve all-win outcomes

Requirements

• 6+ years as a network and/or security engineer in a corporate environment
• Technical knowledge and understanding of infrastructure and security technologies to include: Cloud , Windows & UNIX based servers, workstations, EDR, DLP, vulnerability scanning , proxy and IDS/IPS systems
• Demonstrated analytical, problem solving, planning and organizational skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft computer applications
• Additional Preferred Skills:
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• CISSP, CISA, GIAC (GSEC, GCIA, etc.)
