Network Designer/Architect 2

Requirements

• TS/SCI with agency appropriate poly
• Bachelor's degree plus 5-years of relevant experience, or Master's degree plus 3-years of relevant experience or an Associate's degree plus 7-years of relevant experience or high school diploma/GED plus 9-years of relevant experience may be considered.
• Degree must be in Network Engineering, Systems Engineering, Information Technology or related field.
• Must have an IAT-I certification, such as Security + CE.
• Relevant experience must be in computer or information systems design/development, programming, information/cyber/network security, vulnerability analysis, penetration testing, computer forensics, information assurance and/or systems engineering. Additionally, must have experience in network or system administration.

Guided by customer requirements, describe a generic network architecture that is device independent and satisfies the goals and requirements of the customer. Create a detailed network design that is architecturally compliant, incorporates Agency standard networking components, meets cost and performance requirements, and adheres to all existing Agency and government regulations. Evaluate new network technologies or equipment that can be added to Agency standard solutions. Develop strategies to migrate existing customers to new architecture/technology with minimal impact. Due to federal contract requirements, United States Citizenship and position appropriate security clearance is required. (e.g. Active TS/SCI security clearance with agency appropriate polygraph).
