The Supervisor will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of the assigned department(s) by assuring that productivity, quality and safety standards are maintained. Responsible for maintaining the condition of equipment and securing maintenance services. AS A PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR, YOU WILL: Plan, supervise, and direct daily production operations utilizing strong interpersonal skills. Instruct, train, orient, and coach employees to achieve safety, production and quality objectives. Consistently and fairly administer and support company policies and procedures. Maintain and promote a culture of continuous improvement, 6S, and lean manufacturing You establish and maintain effective customer relationships and partner with others to get things done. You understand interpersonal and group dynamics and react in an effective manner. You facilitate breakthroughs by integrating diverse views and finding common ground or acceptable alternatives. You provide timely and helpful information to individuals across the organization, following through on commitments and ensuring others do the same. REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS: Two (2) year associate degree plus one (1) year of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. Prior supervisory or leadership experience including direction, engagement and coaching Effective communication skills, written and verbal, when dealing with all levels of the organization Strong planning, organization, problem solving, facilitation, and interpersonal skills. Solid computer skills including MS Office Suite Legal authorization to work in the United States - Sponsorship will not be provided for this role. PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE SKILLS: Four (4) year bachelor's degree. One to three (1-3) years or more of experience in manufacturing with similar responsibilities ISO experience #LI-JB1 Why Work in the Rushville, IN Our facility is located in Rushville, IN, which is less than an hour from Indianapolis. Rushville is also a short drive from larger communities such as Shelbyville , Greenfield , and Greensburg . About Our Location Our 2-building campus offers a safe and clean work environment with a "family" atmosphere. We manufacture new semi-hermetic compressors and take the worn-out, failed compressors out of the field and remanufacture them to "like new" status, as well as manufacture crank shafts. Approximately 200 employees work in Rushville and are an integral part of our organization. A 2-building campus allows for learning and growth opportunities for all our team.
