What will you be doing? As a Senior Manager you will take ownership of delivering tax services to your clients, developing the team around you and expanding our services as the client's needs evolve. Within this role you will be expected to apply your expertise across compliance and advisory services, and actively participate and contribute to our marketing initiatives. As a Senior Business Tax Manager, your responsibilities will include among others Management and oversight of a team of qualified and part-qualified tax professionals including all aspects of performance management Develop and maintain long-term relationships with key stakeholders including clients, potential clients and senior leaders across the S&W practice areas and office locations. Lead the delivery of a high quality and proactive service to a portfolio of client engagements in accordance with best practice procedures, internal controls and review processes. Monitor progress, manage risk and ensure key stakeholders are kept informed about progress and expected outcomes including variances to expected budget and timelines. Promote an innovative and inclusive team-orientated environment including coaching and mentoring junior team members. Act as a technical expert and have a strong knowledge and application of tax principles and standards. Contribute to the growth and development of the Tax practice including business development activities and the achievement of financial objectives including new business targets, and timely fee billing and cash collection Identify and implement opportunities for continuous improvements in processes and procedures and participate in strategic and technology projects within the Tax practice
