Responsibilities

  • Handle the full spectrum of Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), and General Ledger (GL) functions.
  • Record and process all financial transactions accurately using double-entry accounting principles.

  • Prepare and maintain accounting schedules, reconciliations, and supporting documentation.

  • Maintain accurate accounting records and ensure proper filing of financial documents.
  • Handle petty cash reimbursement, verification, and reconciliation.
  • Perform inventory audits, stock reconciliations, and costing analysis.
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Monitor outstanding receivables and follow up on overdue accounts.
  • Liaise with auditors, tax agents, banks, suppliers, and government authorities when required.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and statutory regulations.
  • Assist with internal and external audit processes by preparing schedules and supporting documents.
  • Support payroll-related finance functions where required.
  • Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and operational efficiency.
  • Prepare ad hoc financial reports and undertake any other duties assigned by the Finance Manager or Management.
  • Job Requirements
  • Minimum Diploma in Accountancy, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • At least 2 years of relevant accounting experience in a similar role.
  • Experience in the hospitality industry will be an advantage.
  • Experience handling a full set of accounts is preferred.
  • Knowledge of GST regulations and statutory compliance in Singapore.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience with accounting software (e.g. Xero, QuickBooks, MYOB, Sage, or similar ERP systems) will be an advantage.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Meticulous, organised, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Good analytical, problem-solving, and time management skills.
  • Possess a positive attitude, willingness to learn, and the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a team.
  • High level of integrity and commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
