Job Description Summary We are looking for a Safety and Quality Monitoring and Audit Leader to lead the internal audit framework across production and maintenance operations, ensuring full compliance with applicable aviation regulations, certification standards, and company requirements. In this leadership role, you will be responsible for defining and coordinating audit plans, overseeing the execution of internal and workstation audits, monitoring the effectiveness of corrective and preventive actions, and supporting management review activities. You will also play a key role in: supporting third parties authorities surveillance activity, addressing root cause analysis and corrective actions linked to auditing, driving continuous improvement across the company, promoting Flight Deck principles, and ensuring alignment with GEAC and GE Aerospace processes where applicable. This position requires a strong background in aerospace quality and safety systems, regulatory compliance, internal auditing, and cross-functional leadership. Job Description Essential Responsibilities Establish and maintain audit plans to verify compliance with applicable regulatory and certification requirements, including EASA Part 21G, Part 145, EN9100, EN9110, AQAP 2310, and AER Part 21G/145, a ccording to requirements defined by Responsible managers. Lead and coordinate the overall internal audit program for production and maintenance processes, ensuring proper tracking, reporting, and visibility of progress and outcomes. Perform scheduled internal audits in collaboration with company auditors and the site Quality & Safety Focal. Oversee workstation audit activities, including planning, execution, communication, and reporting across the appropriate organizational levels. Prepare summary reporting and dashboards to support business operating rhythms and provide visibility on internal, workstation, and external audit activities. Ensure timely closure and effectiveness verification of corrective and preventive actions related to audit findings, engaging site QS Focals and escalating to the Quality Manager / Safety Manager when required. Maintain auditor qualification, training, and competency in line with organizational standards, including management of the auditor register. Support the Management Representative in the planning and preparation of the Annual Management Review in accordance with EN9100 requirements. Identify trends, analyze audit data, and promote continuous improvement actions based on findings and opportunities. Promote standardization of processes and procedures with GEAC and, where applicable, with GE Aerospace standards and practices. Drive the application of Flight Deck principles and tools to reinforce a culture of compliance, operational discipline, and continuous improvement. Qualifications/Requirements Master degree in Engineering, Quality, Aerospace, Industrial Management, or a related discipline. Significant experience in quality, safety, compliance, auditing, or quality systems leadership within an aerospace manufacturing and/or maintenance environment. Strong knowledge of aerospace regulatory and certification requirements, including: EASA P 21G, EASA P 145, EN9100 / EN9110, AQAP 2310, AER P 21G / 145 Demonstrated experience in managing audit programs and driving corrective action closure. Strong leadership and cross-functional coordination skills. Solid analytical, communication, and reporting capabilities. Ability to influence stakeholders and operate effectively across multiple levels of the organization. Fluent English and Italian, oral and written Work visa as required by local regulations Desired Characteristics Auditor qualification or third-party auditing certification. Experience supporting external audits and management review processes. Familiarity with lean, continuous improvement, and Flight Deck tools and principles. Experience working in matrix organizations and complex regulatory environments.
