Job Description The Sr. Finance Manager IPD reports to the Finance Director WW IPD and is expected to provide financial and FP&A support to the global platform, with a specific focus on the IPD US region. This role provides the opportunity to drive value, get exposure, and learn about a complex global business that spans across two business units, while offering future development opportunities within BD Finance. Primary Responsibilities: Lead finance business partner for US region of MDS IPD platform (revenue ~$330 millions) Being an active and integral member of the US regional team, which includes attending and participating in team meetings to review IVA/GSD/HDS results, providing advice and support on IPD related matters to the regional leader and team members as well as the MDS US Sr. Finance Director, contributing to the strategy development of the business, providing financial support and analysis IPD platforms US revenue and standard gross profit financial analysis, results commentary, month-end close process. Partner with the MDS and MMS US Sales and Marketing teams to present and analyze results, develop and prepare budgets, quarterly projections, and the Annual Strategic Review Lead finance business partner for global OEM platform (revenue ~$40 million) Being an active and integral member of the global OEM management team, which includes attending and participating in team meetings, providing advice and support to the OEM business leader and team members, being actively involved in the decision-making process, contributing to the strategy development of the business, providing financial support and analysis for the business and establishing yourself as a business partner to the global OEM platform leader Revenue and standard gross profit financial analysis and modeling by customer, results commentary, and assisting in the month-end closing process Preparing and assisting in the development of budgets, quarterly projections, and the Annual Strategic Review Support to global IPD platform level initiatives, including, but not limited to: Contributing to new business development initiatives, providing financial support to develop business cases for NPD (New Product Development) programs, acquisitions, and divestitures. Supporting IBP (Integrated Business Planning) process for the platform, assessing global demand and supply estimates, and identifying risk and opportunities to deliver financial commitments. Minimum Requirements: Education: BA (Bachelor's degree) in accounting, finance, or a related field is required Experience: 6 years of relevant work experience in financial planning, business analytics, or related roles Technical Skills: Strong financial systems and tools knowledge and utilization skills. Advanced proficiency in Excel, specifically demonstrated by previous experience creating and manipulating complex spreadsheets including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and macros Analytical Skills: Strong understanding of valuation metrics such as IRR (Internal Rate of Return), MIRR (Modified Internal Rate of Return), and net present value Soft Skills: Well organized with good analytical and communication skills. Strong collaboration abilities and demonstrated ability to establish relationships and build rapport with all stakeholders. Ability to influence management through informed discussions and presentation. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven, team environment
