Dr. Tugce Baser's group in the Department of Civil Engineering at Saint Louis University is seeking two highly motivated postdoctoral scholars to join their team. These positions offer an exciting opportunity to conduct innovative research focused on developing and modeling multiphysics solutions to complex problems in porous materials. Candidates with a background in experimental and/or numerical multiphysics modeling of porous media, applicable to both terrestrial and extraterrestrial environments, are encouraged to apply. The successful candidate will be joining a team of theorists and experimentalists and will conduct research on thermally induced multiphysics behavior of porous materials with applications in permafrost and geothermal energy for resiliency and adaptive infrastructure under changing environmental conditions Collaboration with team members and the supervision and training of graduate students, as needed, are key aspects of the role.
