Security Specialist (physical)

About the role

You will serve as a SECURITY SPECIALIST (PHYSICAL) in the Force Protection Division of NAVSTA EVERETT SEC DET. Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Preparing threat assessments for personnel and assets which have anti-terrorism responsibilities; 2) Regularly updating plans, manuals, instructions to provide recommendations regarding changes to security specifications; 3) Conducting inspections of mission essential assets, arms, ammunition, and explosive storage facilities and critical infrastructure; 4) Conducting classroom, formal, and informal training on crime prevention and physical security awareness programs; and 5) Serving as Loss Prevention Technical Specialist/Security Advisor for the installation during required meetings.
