Rewarding performance-based pay plans and bonusesService Advisor Onboarding Program401(k) Retirement Plan with Company MatchLargest privately owned auto group in the country, GREAT career growth potentialPaid Medical - NO COST Employee Healthcare and Prescription PlanGenerous paid time off/vacation and sick daysBasic Life InsuranceNO COST Employee Assistance ProgramEmployee Discounts100% Paid Manufacturer TrainingComprehensive employee recognition/rewards programsHendrick Automotive Group is a back-to-back winner of Automotive News' Best Dealerships to Work for AwardSuccessful Team approach with Doing Business the Right Way FocusApply Now to build your career with one of the largest, most successful privately held dealership groups in the USA!Pay Range:$4,000 - $9,000 per month (commissions based on job performance).Job Responsibilities include the following:Greet customers warmly and listen carefully to their vehicle concerns to accurately document service needs.Provide detailed explanations of recommended repairs and maintenance services, including oil changes, tire services, brake repair, suspension, transmissions, and morePrepare accurate auto estimates using dealership systems and communicate costs clearly to customers.Coordinate with technicians to prioritize repairs and ensure timely completion of services.Upsell additional services or maintenance based on customer needs while maintaining transparency and integrity.Process payments efficiently while maintaining accurate financial records.Maintain ongoing communication with customers regarding repair status, additional recommendations, and vehicle readiness.Promote dealership services proactively to maximize customer satisfaction and retention through effective sales techniques.Ensure all service documentation complies with company policies and industry standards.Collaborate with the parts department to order necessary components promptly for repairs or maintenance tasks.Stay informed about the latest automotive technologies and repair procedures to provide expert advice.Job Qualifications:Valid Driver's License.College Degree, Vocational/Trade Certificate, High School Diploma, or equivalent.3 years of proven dealership experience as an Automotive Service Advisor or similar role with Volkswagen expertise preferred.Working knowledge of automotive diagnostics, mechanical procedures, and repairs across various systems.Familiarity with automotive software and service writing processes (Reynolds & Reynolds is a plus).Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly and professionally.Experience in upselling services while maintaining honesty and transparency with customers.Ability to process payments accurately and responsibly.Skills Requirements:Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office products. Ability and knowledge of the Dealership Management System and other web-based applications utilized for operations.Communication Skills:Ability to understand and follow instructions. Ability to communicate effectively with customers and company personnel.Attendance Expectations:The position requires regular and predictable attendance in-person at an automotive dealership. Scheduled shifts are typically 5-days per week, Department Hours Monday-Saturday, and may include holidays.Physical Demands:While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear.
