About the role
Role and Key Responsibilities : Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, you will be responsible for leading Pave Bank's Programmable Banking product suite,with full profit & loss (P&L) responsibility, on behalf of Pave Bank. Project Management: ● Oversee the end-to-end management and growth of Pave Bank'sexisting card programmes with Card scheme provider (including the now-launchedBybit programme), and lead the end-to-end launch of new card and virtualaccount programmes. ● Act as a key point of contact between Pave Bank, Card schemeprovider, programme partners (e.g. Bybit), prospective clients and/or any otherstakeholders, ensuring smooth coordination and execution. ● Develop and manage project timelines, milestones, and deliverablesacross all programmes to ensure a timely launches. Configuration & Implementation: ● Work closely with Card scheme provider and other partners to setup and configure each programme to meet Pave Bank's requirements. ● Ensure proper integration of technical, operational, andcompliance aspects within Pave Bank's infrastructure. ● Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to programme setup,ensuring alignment with industry best practices. OperationalReadiness & Risk Management: ● Ensure that Pave Bank has the necessary operational setup tosupport card issuance, virtual accounts and transactions across all programmes. ● Implement risk mitigation strategies to protect against fraud,chargebacks, and other operational risks. ● Work with internal stakeholders to ensure regulatory complianceand adherence to Card scheme provider's and other partners' guidelines. Product Suite Ownership, P&L & Growth:: ● Own full profit & loss (P&L) responsibility for theProgrammable Banking product suite, initially comprising Cards and VirtualAccounts. ● Lead the launch of new card programmes, owning deliveryend-to-end. ● Build out the Programmable Banking product suite beyond Cards andVirtual Accounts, identifying and developing new products to support growth ofthe bank. ● Identify and lead applications for new licences required to launchnew programmes or products and to support business growth. ● Recommend enhancements to processes, systems, and partnerships tosupport long-term growth. Team Leadership & Resourcing: - Build,lead and develop a team to support the operation and growth of the ProgrammableBanking product suite, hiring as the function scales. - Setobjectives, manage performance and develop capability within the team, ensuringthe right skills are in place across programme delivery, product andoperations. Compliance & Regulatory Alignment: ● Ensure that all activities comply with relevant regulatory, risk,and compliance standards. ● Work with legal, compliance, and risk teams to establishgovernance structures for ongoing programme and product monitoring. ● Lead engagement with regulators on new licence applicationsrequired to support the growth of the product suite. Stakeholder Coordination & Communication: ● Liaise with internal teams (finance, risk, compliance, operations,and technology) and external stakeholders to align objectives and expectations. ● Provide regular updates and reports to senior management onP&L performance, project progress, risks, and key decisions.
