Logistics Representative-4PL

Responsibilities

• The duties and responsibilities of this position consists of, but are not limited to, the following:
• Ensure Transportation arrangements are made for shipments by the following: Monitoring customer load board and information flow in the Transportation Management System
• Maintaining any team mailboxes
• Performing relationship and knowledge-based exception management to any pre-defined processes
• Document and organize existing standard operating processes
• Learn multiple job functions within assigned team
• Facilitate customer calls and updates, identify when an outgoing call is needed to offer proactive answers
• Meet operational metrics
• Conduct C.H. Robinson systems trainings to external C.H. Robinson customer representatives
• Manage reconciliation of daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports
• Make fact-based suggestions on how customers can achieve their goals in utilizing C.H. Robinson by understanding C.H. Robinson's value proposition
• Act as a resource and support for peers when needed
• Understand and utilize C.H. Robinson's project-based delivery model to find process improvements and cost savings within area of responsibility and/or team
• Other duties or responsibilities as assigned according to the team and/or country specific requirements
• Required Qualifications:
• Required:
• High School Diploma and/or GED
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Supply Chain, Transportation, and/or Logistics
• Minimum 1 year of prior experience working with and troubleshooting information systems
• Ability to work flexible schedule on occasion, including overtime hours when requested
• Ability to travel up to 5% (domestic and/or international)
• Site Specific: Fluent in English and the primary language of the applicable region

Requirements

• Preferred:
• Bachelor's degree from accredited college or university
• Excellent customer service skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite of programs
• Ability to present to a variety of audiences
