  • Required Certification/Registration/Licensure:

Work Shift: Day - 8 Hour (United States of America)Shifts Vary Based on Department Needs: Days / Evenings (PRN; As Needed Basis) Under general direction of the Clinical Pharmacy Manager, fulfills all legal requirements, including evaluation, selection, procurement and distribution of drugs, counseling, and professional consultation. Ensures compliance with all state and federal regulations as well as policies of Emory Healthcare. Interprets physician prescriptions and medication orders. Compounds and dispenses prescribed medications and other pharmaceuticals and related products for patient care by performing related duties. Responsible for supervising technicians on duty during shift. Responsible for participating in Clinical and Quality Improvement programs established by department. Education & Training: Bachelor or Doctorate degree from an accredited School of Pharmacy.
