Game Integrity Bot Specialist

Responsibilities

• As a Bot Specialist, you will be primarily focusing on enforcing PokerStars' policies and game rules to identify and combat the use of prohibited software, artificial intelligence and other forms of unfair advantage to ensure a level and trusted playing field to all our customers.
• Investigatory work
• You will handle, investigate and act on cases of prohibited tool usage on any of PokerStars' many platforms and licenses
• You will use our dedicated tools to gather data and analyse it to assist in your case conclusions.
• You will present your findings to your colleagues and managers and action as per the consensus.
• You will assist your colleagues with their cases, providing valuable feedback so cases can be resolved in a timely manner.
• You will handle customer reported cases, ensuring that all their suspicions have been thoroughly investigated. This will include liaising in a professional manner with any partners or internal organisations as part of the network environment we work in.
• Project work
• You will have opportunities to work on individual projects aimed at improving our detection methods & efficiency.
• You will present the results of your project work to relevant stakeholders though data-driven reports and/or data visualisation.
• Additional duties
• Occasionally, you will be asked to handle various other Game Integrity queries while communicating effectively with external customers and cross-department teams and presenting your results to technical and non-technical audiences.

Requirements

• Experience playing online poker and have some experience using the most common third party assistance tools.
• An excellent understanding of poker strategy and game theory.
• A full understanding of and be passionate about fighting for the good of the poker playing community.
• A solid understanding of mathematics, specifically statistics, and be comfortable managing large amounts of data. Experience with Excel functions and writing queries would help.
• An excellent attention to detail to be able to identify suspicious patterns while remaining objective and fair in interpretations and conclusions.
• You will need to be able to convey complex principles in concise written and verbal form to external and internal customers, pitched at the correct level of detail.
• You'll need to have an excellent level of written and verbal English.
• You'll be a self-starter that can work independently, but also comfortable working in a team environment.

Game Integrity Bot Specialist Job title: Game Integrity Services Bot Specialist Location: Sofia Overview of the role: We have an exciting new role in our Game Integrity Bots team for someone who is enthusiastic, organised and has a passion for poker. You'll be reporting into the Game Integrity Services Bots Manager in a dynamic team who all share a strong passion for ensuring that our games are played cleanly and are fair for all customers. This is a varied role where no two days are the same! You'll be policing the usage of prohibited third-party tools, thoroughly investigating cases where we suspect foul play and collaborating with your colleagues on improving our detection methods. This role follows a hybrid approach to working, allowing you to combine working from home with working in our modern offices. These discussions are between you and your manager to find the best pattern for you both, while recognising that quality time together is essential for keeping us mission aligned.
