Requirements

• GCSE (or equivalent) in English and Mathematics - essential
• Relevant Teaching Assistant qualification - desirable
• SEND-related training - desirable
• Experience of working with primary-aged children (EYFS and/or KS1/KS2) - essential
• Experience supporting pupils with SEND - desirable
• Experience in a school or educational setting (mainstream or specialist) - desirable
• Knowledge and Skills
• Sound understanding of the primary curriculum
• Ability to support pupils with a range of learning needs
• Ability to promote independence and engagement in learning
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to build positive and professional relationships with pupils and staff
• Good organisational skills and ability to manage workload effectively

Role Purpose Hendon Prep is seeking to appoint a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to support pupils across the school. This is a varied and rewarding role working with children from Preschool through to Year 6.
