About the role
Lead and grow the Hygienic Fluid Handling and Heat Transfer Technologies (HFH) Service business across Southeast Asia by combining strategic business development and service excellence. Responsible for driving profitable growth through new service opportunities, customer retention programs, and after-sales solution development in collaboration with channel partners. Job Description Business Growth & Strategy Develop and execute HFH Service business strategy aligned with the SEA divisional goals. Identify new service and aftersales business opportunities, including, installed base upgrades, and digital service offerings. Conduct market and competitor analysis to prioritize growth areas in key industries (Dairy, F&B, HPC and Pharma). Collaborate with Channel teams to develop integrated after-sales business models. Customer & Channel Development Strengthen relationships with strategic accounts, integrators, distributors to expand HFH service reach. Build and implement customer segmentation and value proposition plans to increase loyalty and service penetration. Conduct customer visits, presentations, and technical discussions to position Alfa Laval's HFH service value. Operational Excellence Ensure high-quality service delivery in collaboration with Channel partners and Service operations teams. Develop service campaigns and plans for installed base management. Monitor performance KPIs such as revenue, margin and installed base coverage. Leadership & Collaboration Lead, coach, and develop HFH service through channel partners to build technical and commercial competence. Drive collaboration across Business Units, including P&A, Product portfolio managers to leverage cross-selling opportunities. What You Know 8 to 10+ years of experience in Business Development, Commercial, or Sales roles within industrial or engineering-driven environments Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Food, Process or related fields required). Master's degree (MBA or technical Master's) is an added advantage Proven experience in industrial machinery for hygienic processing, food & beverage, or consumer packaged goods Experience in capital equipment and/or after-sales business is highly acceptable Strong regional exposure across Southeast Asia markets Demonstrated ability to influence customers and internal stakeholders at multiple levels Comfortable with a high-travel, regional role (50-60% travelling)
