The Channel and Ecosystems team is dedicated to accelerating Asana's growth and market reach through partnerships and fostering a thriving partner network. We build and nurture relationships with Channel Partners (VARs, Services Partners, Distributors, Systems Integrators), Technology Partners (ISVs, App Partners) and Strategic Alliances to support Asana customers across geographies through our partners' specialized expertise, consulting and technical capabilities. Our team collaborates closely with internal cross-functional teams to align partner efforts with company objectives and ensure that partners are engaged through comprehensive enablement, program support and resources. As the Public Sector Channel Manager, you will support our Public Sector and Education ecosystem with a focus on our recently launched FedRAMP offering, AsanaGov. You will focus on building, enabling, and scaling a high-impact partner motion while driving end-to-end partner recruitment to fuel pipeline growth. Based in the Washington, D.C. area, you will stay close to the Federal System Integrator (FSI) community and other key partners to drive our channel strategy. This role is based in our Washington, D.C. office with an office-centric hybrid schedule. The standard in-office days are Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday. Most Asanas have the option to work from home on Wednesdays. Working from home on Fridays depends on the type of work you do and the teams with which you partner. What you'll achieve Own the Public Sector vertical for the AMER channel team, identifying and mitigating risks while developing programs that scale. Grow Asana's FSI partner motion supporting our FedRAMP offering, AsanaGov, as well as our SLED business in NAMER. Build and own relationships with priority federal SIs (e.g., GDIT, Booz Allen, Raytheon). Manage a cohesive sell-through model between FSIs, Carahsoft (our key distributor), and our Public Sector sales team. Partner with Account Executives and internal teams to drive pipeline and help close high-impact opportunities. Collaborate with the partner enablement team to launch, engage, and activate new partnerships. Team with other partner support functions to enable new partners and expand existing relationships. About you Experienced in the SaaS software industry and the FSI partner community. Deeply knowledgeable of government contracting and sales processes within the public sector landscape. Skilled at engaging partner executives while remaining hands-on in the sales process with direct clients. Process- and outcomes-oriented, with the ability to drive accountability and implement scalable partner management workflows. An excellent communicator and relationship-builder capable of managing change across technical and non-technical stakeholders. Familiar with working with distributors; experience collaborating with Carahsoft or similar is a strong plus. Demonstrates curiosity about AI tools and emerging technologies, with a willingness to learn and leverage them to enhance productivity, collaboration, or decision-making . Commutable to the Washington, D.C. metro area to attend partner meetings. To ensure pay is fair and not impacted by biases, we're committed to looking at market value which is why we check ourselves and conduct a yearly pay equity audit. For this role, the estimated base salary range is between $172,000 - $196,000. The actual base salary will vary based on various factors, including market and individual qualifications objectively assessed during the interview process. The listed range above is a guideline, and the base salary range for this role may be modified. In addition to base salary, your compensation package may include additional components such as equity, sales incentive pay (for most sales roles), and benefits.
