About the role
Job Responsibility 1. Product Development & Transition Serve as the main point of contact between design and manufacturing teams during the product development lifecycle. Review product designs to ensure manufacturability (DFM) and compliance with industry standards. Develop and oversee pilot production runs to validate production processes and workflows. 2. Process Development & Optimization Establish robust manufacturing processes for new products, ensuring scalability and efficiency. Quality Assurance Collaborate with the Quality team to define inspection criteria and ensure new products meet quality standards. Conduct root cause analysis for non-conformance issues during pilot and initial production runs. Support the creation of process documentation, such as standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions. 5. Continuous Improvement Drive initiatives to improve product design and manufacturing efficiency. Implement lessons learned from previous NPIs to refine future processes. Evaluate and adopt new technologies to enhance production capabilities. Job Requirement Bachelor's/Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Precision Engineering, or a related field. Strong understanding of machining processes (CNC machining, turning, milling, etc.). Expertise in jig and fixture design using CAD software. Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, including machining, assembly, and automation. Strong leadership and team management capabilities. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills. Effective communication and coordination with diverse teams. Familiarity with process validation tools(FMEA, control plans, statistical analysis). CAD /CAM /Design Knowledge Essential. Solidworks knowledge will be advantage Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Problem-solving and analytical skills. Office software skill Excel & Power Point etc. Strong knowledge of safety regulations and best practices.
