Cybersecurity Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage security measures to safeguard networks, systems, and applications
• Provide technical proposals and deliver with quality standards and deadlines
• Monitor and analyze security alerts and logs from firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, and other systems
• Implement security controls and ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g. ISO27001, NIST, CIS)
• Investigate, contain, and respond to security incidents and breaches
• Assist in the development and enforcement of security policies and procedures
• Participate in Cybersecurity Risk Assessment, hardening, VAPT
• Automate security operations using scripts or tools to improve
• Setup and configure for network, firewall and switches

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity Operation or relevant disciplines
• Proficient with Cybersecurity principles
• Good understanding of cybersecurity hardening methodologies, scripting and tools
• Be familiar with Windows/Linux OS, has hands-on experience with Windows/Linux OS hardening and MS SQL server hardening
• Have knowledge with TCP/IP network switch and routing
• Be CCNA, CISSP, Security+, CISA certified will be a plus
