Epworth Community Services is a Social Service Agency (SSA)that helps at-risk children and youths from needy and disadvantaged families. Receptionist The Temporary Receptionist supports the operation of the centre on weekday evenings and Saturday afternoons. This includes ensuring the safety of the students in the centre, and answering simple queries. Job Responsibilities Manning of the reception Welcome students who come from classes Ensure that students follow check-in routine (e.g., take attendance and temperature, wash hands, wait or teacher) Ensure safety of the students in the centre Ensure the reception and waiting areas are kept neat and safe Pack up equipment and centre at the end of the day General administrative duties as required Contact with Parents/ Guardians Contacting parents/guardians using the office phone when needed (e.g., when child/ parent is late, child is unwell etc) Answer simple walk-in queries Job Requirements Available to work from 5:30pm to 8:45pm on weekdays and 1:30pm to 5:30pm on Saturdays Flexible with working schedule Good command of written and spoken English Experience working with children preferred Other Information Location of workplace: Jurong West
