About the role

Job Summary Imperial College London is seeking a Campus Grounds Person to support the maintenance and presentation of outdoor areas across the White City Campus. In this hands-on role, you will help ensure that campus grounds remain clean, safe and welcoming for students, staff and visitors. This role involves working outdoors throughout the year and requires a flexible and proactive approach to maintaining high standards across the campus environment, as well as working hours. Working as part of the Campus Operations Team, you will carry out a range of practical outdoor tasks including grounds maintenance, minor repairs and supporting cleaning and waste management activities. Working closely with contractors and other campus teams, you will also help ensure work areas remain safe, compliant with health and safety requirements, and responsive to the operational needs of the site. We expect you to have relevant experience in grounds maintenance or similar practical roles. You should also have basic practical skills such as painting, minor repairs or general maintenance. The role is on-site only, and the working hours are 37 hours per week.
