Project Engineer

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 1/3/5 years of relevant experience in mechanical and electrical (M&E) engineering, depending on the position level.
• Prior experience in an M&E consultancy environment will be an added advantage.
• Good knowledge of M&E system design, building services, and relevant Singapore codes of practice and regulations.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or BIM software is advantageous.
• Strong teamwork, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently, proactively, and take initiative.
• Proven involvement in residential, commercial, industrial, institutional, and recreational building projects is preferred.
• Eligibility for registration with the Professional Engineers Board (PEB), Singapore, will be an added advantage.
• Fresh graduates or candidates without relevant experience but with strong interpersonal skills and a willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.

Additional Information

Basic Information: Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Plan, coordinate, and oversee mechanical and electrical (M&E) engineering works for building services projects from design through contract administration. Prepare tender documentation, including technical specifications, and review engineering and construction drawings for accuracy and compliance. Evaluate tender submissions and compile comprehensive tender evaluation reports with technical recommendations. Attend technical discussions, coordination meetings, and project progress meetings with clients, architects, consultants, and contractors. Supervise project execution, conduct site inspections, and identify non-compliance or quality issues in contractors' work to ensure adherence to project specifications and standards. Carry out other ad hoc duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.
