Requirements

• 4+ years of professional software engineering experience, with significant time spent in data engineering
• Deep, hands-on Snowflake expertise: production experience designing data models and warehouses, building ELT/ETL pipelines, and writing performant SQL on the platform
• Working knowledge of Snowflake performance tuning, cost optimization, and security/governance (warehouse sizing, clustering, RBAC)
• Strong proficiency in Python and C# for back-end development
• Hands-on experience with relational SQL databases (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL)
• Proven experience building and consuming REST APIs
• Practical DevOps experience: CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, server configuration
• Comfort working in both Windows Server and Linux environments
• Ability to manage and context-switch across multiple concurrent client projects
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including technical communication with non-technical stakeholders

You'll pair that data work with back-end and DevOps engineering across multiple client engagements, collaborating closely with project managers, developers, and client stakeholders to deliver scalable, performant solutions. Snowflake powers a SaaS platform we operate and a growing share of our data work, and it's where we're investing to get stronger, so deep, demonstrable Snowflake expertise is the primary focus of this role. You may also work with Redshift and Databricks, which we use internally and on behalf of clients, but Snowflake is where we want this person to be strongest.
