About the role

As a Sales Director for the Homeland Security Tribe, you will be responsible for driving sales and business development initiatives within the Homeland Security sector. What will you do? Leadership & Team Management: Lead and inspire a team of sales professionals to achieve and exceed sales targets. Sales Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to drive growth in the Homeland Security sector. Oversee account penetration, prospect qualification, and the entire sales process. Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including both short-term and long-term sales goals. Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain deep, trusted relationships with key clients and stakeholders. Act as a trusted advisor to clients, understanding their business needs and delivering tailored solutions. Collaborate with clients to identify future opportunities and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the DHS Client Service Unit, Lines of Businesses (LOBs), and NEXT Services teams. Define solution offerings and value propositions that align with client needs and NCS capabilities. Lead internal Sales bidding process to achieve the best cost-effective sales proposals Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and refine product offerings. Sales Performance & Reporting: Monitor and report on sales performance, including sales pipeline, sold margin, and revenue achievements. Develop and implement metrics to measure the success of sales initiatives and strategies. The ideal candidate should possess: University Degree/Polytechnic Diploma in Business, Marketing, or a related field. A background in Computer Science or Computer Engineering is a plus. Proven track record of success in sales leadership roles, preferably within the Homeland Security or related sectors and experience in managing and developing a high-performing sales team. Over 5 years of sales leadership experience in ICT services or consulting, with a strong track record in business development. Experience in IT technical sales is an advantage. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Proven sales and negotiation skills. Ability to present and articulate complex solutions effectively. Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute sales strategies. Knowledge of NCS operational processes and commercial arrangements.
