Responsibilities

  • Mentoring and coaching junior scientists, fostering a culture of scientific curiosity, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborating cross-functionally with engineering, clinical, quality, marketing and regulatory teams to align scientific strategy with product development goals and patient needs.
  • Required Qualifications
  • MSc or Ph.D. in Chemistry, Electrochemistry, Materials Science or a related field.
  • 10 + years of experience with electrochemical devices and/or sensing technologies
  • 5 + years working on R&D projects within the medical device industry
  • Proven track record of successful product development, including product launch, design for manufacturing and technical problem-solving
  • Strong understanding of FDA Design Controls, ISO 13485, and ISO 14971.
  • Experience writing design documentation and specifications that meet regulatory requirements.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and project management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, cross-disciplinary team environment.

  • The base pay range for this position is:
  • $165,490 - $227,546
  • Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
  • If this is a commission eligible position the commission eligibility will be in accordance with the terms of the Company's plan. Commissions are based on individual performance and/or company performance.
