Position Summary Job Description Days & Hours: Depending on work function, must be flexible to work 8 or 10-hour shifts as assigned. Pay Rate- $22.75 Essential Functions: Operations Technicians may be assigned by the Company to perform all aspects of work within the Street/Utility Job Family including, but not limited to: Completing all phases of core utility work regarding customer service and meter and gas pressure regulator installations. Conducting leak investigations and responding to emergencies of any nature. Installing, repairing, and maintaining distribution mains and services. Operating mechanical equipment. Other duties as defined by the CBA for the Street/Utility Job Family.

Requirements

• Required Background:
• High School Diploma or GED
• All applicants must pass pre-employment mechanical aptitude testing.
• A valid NJ Driver's License
• Required Skills:
• Must be available for standby responsibilities and emergency work when required.
• This is a DOT-covered position and will be subject to random drug screening.
• Work location(s) may vary based on language as defined in the CBA.
