Pharmacy Technician - Internal Auditor - FT - Days - MHW

About the role

-The Pharmacy Internal Auditor is responsible for surveillance and auditing of pharmacy processes, medication-related activities and applicable software-related transactions across eligible areas within Memorial Healthcare System. Responsible for preparing response to transaction audits, including finance, payors, and drug utilization audits and documentation

Responsibilities

• Develops audit tools for proper identification, reconciliation, resolution. Escalates any identified issues as they arise during the monitoring, auditing and reconciliation process.
• Works with internal and external parties to develop and validate action plan. Follows up on progress and completion of actions plans as necessary.
• Responsible for the intra and interdisciplinary day-to-day management and auditing of operational/ clinical pharmacy processes.
• Performs financial, drug utilization and documentation audits to ensure compliance and adherence to established programs, regulations, policies and procedures, and at-risk transactions on a routine basis as established by department lead.

• Education and Certification Requirements:
• High School Diploma or Equivalent (Required)Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPHT) - Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB), Registered Pharmacy Technician (RPT LICENSE) - State of Florida (FL)
• Additional Job Information:
• Complexity of Work: Requires initiative, critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
• Required Work Experience: Five (5) years of relevant pharmacy experience required.
• Other Information: Additional Credential Info: Registered Pharmacy Technician license and Certified Pharmacy Technician Exam are required. Advanced Certified Pharmacy Technician (ACPHT) is preferred.
