Stay safe and protect your personal information. *Contingent upon successful contract award* Location: Poland Job Description Responsible for day-to-day requirements of bridging the linguistic gap between Acuity International Operations Center and the host nation military Base Defense Operation Centre personnel in accordance with the Security Operation Center (SOC) Standard of Operation Procedures (SOP). Job Responsibilities Translate spoken conversations from Ukrainian to English and English to Ukrainian. Translate passages from Ukrainian to English and English to Ukrainian. Translate sent and received emails. Facilitate accurate communications between the Shift Supervisor and host nation military Base Defense Operation Centre personnel. Identify essential communications from the host nation military Base Defense Operation Centre personnel and ensure concerns are appropriately communicated to the Shift Supervisor. Other duties as assigned by the management. Job Qualifications Must have at least one (1) year of experience working with ex-pat Private Security Company (PSC) in a fast-moving environment. Experience as an interpreter with US Government Agencies, Coalition Forces / military units (preferred). Experience dealing with senior military officers and officials from the Government of Poland (preferred). Excellent attention to detail and adherence to approved processes and procedures. Consistently demonstrates integrity, trustworthiness, loyalty, and commitment. Ability to work under pressure and in austere living conditions with the potential for an element of danger. Fluency in spoken and written English and Ukrainian. Intermediate level skills to include Microsoft Office (Word, Excel spreadsheets, and PowerPoint). Good communication skills. Able to create and maintain positive working relationships in a multicultural team. Physical Requirements and Work Conditions Individuals must be able to sit and concentrate for extended periods.
