Job Description As an HSE Projects Lead you will serve as a strategic and technical resource, driving the integration of robust Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) practices across a dynamic portfolio of projects. These span from complex construction developments to internal transformation programs, each requiring tailored risk management and compliance strategies. Your responsibilities include, but not limited to: Lead HSE planning and execution across the project portfolio, serving as the technical HSE resource for high-risk activities including electrical safety, lifting operations, and work at height. Foster strong stakeholder relationships, engaging collaboratively with internal teams, contractors, and external entities Drive change in a systemic way leveraging e.g. Change management certification or experience (e.g., Prosci, Kotter). Drive accountability for execution of HSE programs, compliance, and continuous improvement. Leveraging expertise in incident investigation and root cause analysis (5 Whys, RCA). Familiarity with digital HSE platforms (e.g., Enablon, Intelex, SAP EHS). Help build organisational capability by coaching and mentoring site HSE professionals, fostering a culture of ownership and engagement. Manage multiple priorities while maintaining focus on delivery and impact. Champion the consistent application of the Sandoz Business System (or equivalent), integrating Lean practices into H&S programs. What you will bring to the role: Degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related discipline (or technical equivalent). Certified HSE professional (e.g., NEBOSH, CSP, CMIOSH, or equivalent). Minimum of 5 years of demonstrated technical proficiency in HSE disciplines, with hands-on expertise in managing high-risk operations, construction environments, and remediation scopes. Skilled in applying regulatory standards and engineering controls to ensure safe execution and risk reduction across complex and varied project settings. Fluent in English with strong communication skills; other languages desirable. Collaborative leader in matrix environments, builds cross-functional alignment and engages senior stakeholders. Results-driven, strategic thinker with practical execution Willing to travel up to 15%.
