Requirements

  • Shifts:
  • Monday - Friday
  • 2nd: 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM EST
  • 3rd: 11:00 PM - 7:30 AM EST
  • This is a hands-on nightshift position that requires a strong ability to work on delicate parts utilizing a microscope.
  • Specific Responsibilities:
  • Ability to work 8 hours under the microscope utilizing miniaturized hand tools such as tweezers and fine screwdrivers.
  • In-process inspection and self-inspection.
  • Hand solder components, wires, and jumpers into the assemblies per IPC-610.
  • Assemble and/or solder electronic components to printed circuit boards.
  • MMIC Die attach of chip components using silver epoxy.
  • Hybrid circuit assemblies using silver epoxy and solder.
  • Ability to read and work from detailed process sheets, prints and drawings.
  • Ability to follow both written and verbal instructions.
  • Good computer skills are required to support retrieval of drawings and work instructions, as well as other job activities.
  • Hand assembly using a variety of tools and or equipment according to specifications/process
  • Use Loctite, epoxy, and other compounds as required by the assembly process steps
  • Handle of ESD sensitive material and equipment
  • Willing to be cross-trained and perform other related duties as required.
  • Good dexterity, eye / hand coordination.
  • Demonstrate a keen awareness of safety practices and familiarity with OSHA standards.
  • Ensure work areas are kept neat, clean, and organized per company guideline.
  • Must maintain a very good attendance record.

  • The expected wage range for a new hire into this position is $25 to $31. Actual wage offered may vary depending on work location , experience, education, training, external market data, internal pay equity, or other bona fide factors.
  • This position qualifies for a discretionary performance-based bonus which is based on personal and company factors.
