The Senior Financial Reporting Manager is a senior delivery role at the heart of TBTG's listed company reporting function. What you'll be doing: ARA project management Project-manage the end-to-end production of the Group ARA and Half-Year Results, including the project plan, contributor scheduling and tracking against the listed company reporting timetable. Manage the proof cycle with the typesetter, including version control, mark-up consolidation, sign-off workflow and Companies House filing. Run the casting check, three-way reconciliation across ARA, RNS and investor materials and the final proof QC. Coordinate input from Finance, Company Secretarial, Investor Relations, the corporate broker, financial PR (FTI) and external advisers, escalating issues to the Head of Financial Reporting for resolution. Draft the financial statements, notes to the accounts and front half disclosures (including the financial review, alternative performance measures and Strategic Report financial content) for technical review and sign-off by the Head of Financial Reporting. Consolidation production Run the monthly, half-year and year-end consolidation across the international entities, including intercompany eliminations, FX translation and equity reconciliations. Submit the consolidation for review and approval by the Head of Financial Reporting. Own the consolidation workbook and process, including review of subsidiary submissions and resolution of consolidation differences. Interim and year-end accounts Produce the interim and year-end financial statements for the Group and key subsidiaries, including supporting workings, journals and reconciliations. Manage the hard close and final close processes, ensuring the financial statements are audit-ready on the agreed timetable. Maintain the Group accounting policy manual and accounting papers. International financial statements Produce the standalone statutory accounts for the parent company and key UK subsidiaries. Track filing deadlines, manage the local audit interface and ensure local GAAP-to-IFRS reconciliations are appropriately documented. Financial control framework Build, maintain and operate the Group financial control framework, including process narratives, key controls, control owners and evidence repositories. Support the Group's Provision 29 readiness work, in coordination with the wider Listed Co. Governance & Compliance programme. Liaise with Internal Audit (in-house and co-source) on financial reporting controls testing and remediation. Team leadership Line manage and allocate work, review output, set objectives and develop the team. Support the studies of any qualified-by-experience or part-qualified team members. Deputise for the Head of Financial Reporting on production matters as required. Skills, knowledge & expertise: ACA, ACCA or equivalent qualified accountant with significant post-qualification experience in a group reporting environment. Demonstrable track record of producing the Annual Report and Accounts and Half-Year Report for a UK listed plc, either in industry or as an audit senior manager preparing client deliverables. Strong IFRS technical knowledge sufficient to draft financial statements and notes for review by a technical sign-off authority. Experience of multi-entity, multi-currency group consolidation, including overseas subsidiaries and FX translation. Strong project management, attention to detail and the ability to deliver to fixed, externally communicated reporting deadlines. Prior line management experience. Confident communicator able to engage with auditors, external advisers and senior internal stakeholders.
