Leidos was awarded the U.S. Air Force Cloud One Architecture and Common Shared Services contract, and currently has an opening for a Communications, Visual and Graphic Design. This is an exciting opportunity to use your experience to modernize a leading, global-scale multi-cloud environment in support of a critical mission, supporting USAF system resiliency, security, and cost effectiveness. Primary Responsibilities: As a Visual and Graphic Designer, you will play a critical role in translating complex technical concepts into clear, concise, and user-friendly documentation. You'll collaborate with engineers, program managers, and customer stakeholders to develop materials that support cloud implementation, training, compliance, and ongoing operations.

Responsibilities

  • Manage version control and document lifecycle across multiple workstreams.
  • Communicates with internal and client project team members. Works to influence team members regarding solution design, process and/or approaches.
  • Works independently to achieve day-to-day objectives with significant impact on operational results or project deliverables. Responsible for entire projects or processes within a professional area.

Requirements

  • Typically requires BS degree and 4+ years of prior relevant experience.
  • Interim Secret clearance required to start; Ability to obtain Secret clearance required to maintain employment.
  • US citizenship required.
  • 5+ years of experience in technical writing, preferably supporting federal or DoD programs.
  • Proven ability to write and edit complex technical content for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Familiarity with cloud technologies, cybersecurity principles, and enterprise IT environments.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and documentation tools (e.g., SharePoint, Confluence, Adobe Acrobat).
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of Agile development environments and DevSecOps
