Webmaster

Responsibilities

• Develop new websites, introduce new functions/features and work with designers and vendors to ensure optimal design, architecture and performance of the websites
• Maintain website content and ensure new content and announcements are updated in a timely manner
• Ensure timely renewal of domain names, server hosting, plugin subscriptions etc
• Manage and update our DNS records
• Manage hierarchy and access rights of different users on CMS and support users in the use of the CMS
• Perform regular review of Google analytics and website performance, analyse site layout, coding, navigation, SEO ranking of keywords, and make improvements to optimise the content and pages to enhance visibility of websites and improve search engine rankings
• Perform regular review of the user journey to ensure that key content and functions are user-friendly
• Provide regular reports on web performance and analysis of insights of website and youtube performance
• Support in service and event live-streams, and ensure post-event video and audio files are uploaded to the platforms in a timely manner
• Perform regular maintenance and adhoc migration of our websites including updating our DNS records as and when required
• Ensure our websites are protected and have adequate and robust security in line with international best practices
• Keep updated with the latest web standards and technologies
• Any adhoc tasks as assigned
• Required Qualifications
• A Diploma in computer science, information systems, or related field
• At least 3 years work experience in development and maintenance of websites and improving website performance
• Experienced and knowledgeable about Wordpress, with some knowledge of coding JavaScript, HTML, CSS based webpages
• Proven track record in the areas of responsibility.
• Able to work in time-sensitive environments and make necessary changes for relevant platforms at short notice for urgent requests
• Experience in livestreams is advantageous
• A passion for the web, new media, and latest web technologies
• Basic understanding of SEO and online marketing
• Possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Possess a positive outlook and high level of professionalism
• Skilled in the use of common software such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint
• Adept in project management, with the ability to manage different projects concurrently

Webmaster, Corporate Communications As a Webmaster , you will help to develop and maintain several websites, ensure optimal website performance and up-time, support our service and event livestreams, perform post event uploads, and manage requests in a timely manner. Applicants will be expected to be knowledgeable in the latest web standards, web analytics, SEO, experienced in development and maintenance of websites, proven track record in improving performance of websites, with trouble-shooting abilities, and effective communication skills to work with various internal departments and external stakeholders with a high level of professionalism.
