Business Analyst, Asset Management

Requirements

• 3 years of experience in business or data analysis, including data modeling.
• Experience with asset management and work management enabling technologies, preferably within the utility sector.
• Experience with Business Process Model and Notation (BPMN 2.0) is preferred.

• Solid understanding of the capabilities within the core business technologies leveraged by the organization and its relation to the business processes.
• Strong English communication skills (both oral and written).

Job Summary: Supports the effective use of data, technology tools and business applications across the utility asset lifecycle, ensuring accurate information and optimized processes that enhance operational performance and strategic decision-making. Job Description: Develops business process models for new or revised processes to document workflows and support continuous improvement. Conducts requirements‑gathering and process‑development sessions with business representatives to capture accurate business needs. Maintains business requirements, User Acceptance Testing (UAT) scenarios, and process documentation to ensure clarity and alignment throughout the project lifecycle. Supports the development of change management materials to ensure a seamless transition for business users to new tools and technology. Collaborates with IT/OT teams to understand software lifecycle changes and assist in integrating updates into business processes. Identifies basic data analysis needs to support understanding of business problems and decision‑making. Follows established company policies, procedures, and standards to ensure full compliance with applicable laws and industry regulations. Participates in storm restoration tasks and assigned drills to contribute to the safe and reliable recovery of services. Performs additional tasks aligned with role expectations and qualifications to support team goals and operational flexibility. Additional Job Description: Education Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field from an accredited university.
