Main challenge Bringing a cozy life-sim fantasy to life through content, by tightly integrating narrative, systems, and world-building - moving beyond scripted quests into emergent, player-driven experiences. What it means on a daily basis Bring together art, design, narrative and sound to reinforce the main themes of the game Work with game designers and narrative designers to implement story content directly in the game (quests, environments, interactions) Work with artists to shape and give life to characters Use gameplay and systems to convey story - not just dialogue and text Design and iterate on a more systemic quest approach, tied to gameplay systems rather than linear scripting Write and implement dialogue and in-game text where needed What success will look like Players stop relying on quests as instructions and start forming their own goals Narrative is felt through gameplay and the world, not just delivered through dialogue Content does not break when systems evolve - it scales with them The world, companions, and NPCs operate as elements of a single interconnected system rather than as isolated layers We reduce dependency on "go there, do that" quest structures Who you would be working with Creative Director Game Designers Narrative Designers / Writers Level Designers Art & Audio teams Production team Your recruitment journey First interview: HR discussion Test: Content design exercise Second interview: Discussion with the game's creative director.
