The Social Media Specialist will support the Marketing & Communications team by executing a high-tempo, content-driven social media strategy aligned with company objectives. This role is responsible for capturing, creating, and publishing content that highlights Stratolaunch's capabilities, programs, and milestones. This is an on-site role requiring real-time content capture and the ability to translate complex aerospace topics into clear, compelling, and accurate messaging. The ideal candidate is a strong writer, with proven experience and ability in content creation, video production, and digital storytelling. Essential Responsibilities Develop, write, and publish social media content aligned with company priorities, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and AP style consistency Translate complex aerospace and technical concepts into clear, engaging content for external audiences Capture and produce photo and video content, including short-form clips, flight-related visuals, and behind-the-scenes material Edit video (Premiere Pro) and create graphics (Photoshop) for social and marketing use Manage and execute the social media content calendar, maintaining a consistent posting cadence Track approvals for social media content and ensure compliance with internal and external requirements Develop monthly, quarterly, and annual analytics reports, including performance metrics, trends, and insights Benchmark company performance against industry peers and identify opportunities for growth Plan and execute content that supports marketing campaigns, industry initiatives, and company priorities Schedule, coordinate, and conduct interviews with employees Develop employee spotlight content and internal storytelling features Assist with PowerPoint template updates, slide development, and visual assets Organize and maintain digital media libraries, ensuring assets are properly archived and accessible Provide on-site support for events, tours, and media engagements through content capture and coordination, including acting as an escort when required
