Responsibilities
- You'll help keep our medication distribution systems organized, efficient, and reliable by:
- Maintaining appropriate inventory levels in automated dispensing cabinets across the hospital
- Monitoring medication supplies and restocking items in a timely, cost-effective way
- Overseeing the daily operation of automated dispensing systems
- Troubleshooting system or inventory issues and helping resolve them quickly
- Partnering with pharmacy staff, nursing teams, and vendors to support smooth workflows
- Supporting accurate tracking, pricing, and accountability of medication inventory
- Identifying opportunities to improve processes and reduce waste

- Required Education and Experience
- Certification Requirement:
- Certification as a Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) from the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB)-required
- Education and Experience
- High school diploma or High School Equivalency diploma and one (1) year of full-time Pharmacy Technician experience in a hospital or healthcare organization with extensive training and experience with automated dispensing system
- The preferred candidate will have hospital experience, experience with automation dispensing cabinets, and experience specifically with Pyxis.
