About the role

Manages professional staff, including entry-level, and / or supervisors. Adapts departmental plans and priorities to address resource and operational challenges. Handles most situations independently and is guided by policies, procedures and the business plan, but will seek advice and guidance on more complex issues. Applies subject matter knowledge to solve common business issues. Operates within practices and procedures covered by precedents or well defined policies escalating all nonroutine problems. You search continuously to improve the existing operational processes + systems used. You ensure a smooth hand over of tasks and optimize communication between the different teams at time of shift transfer. You ensure daily updates in the Warehouse Management system of production results, system faults and stock deviations. You provide the necessary reporting to the Site Manager Experience in a functional area routinely applying knowledge of theories, methods, techniques and processes. Understands the overall nature of the business and the interdependencies between own and other functions. Develops people - coaching and mentoring to build organizational capability, talent and bench strength. Your Profile +7 years' experience in contract logistics especially in a customer facing role +5 years' experience in managing and leading a warehouse operations team Experience to work in an international matrix organization with excellent stakeholder management capabilities Lean thinking and continuous improvement is your second nature Excellent interpersonal, communication and negotiating skills Strong personality; passionate, holistic view, courageous, effective in different cultural settings, impact driven, optimistic & stress resistant Strong process-oriented approach to work and excellent attention to detail. Sie tragen die Gesamtverantwortung für den Lagerbetrieb, Arbeitssicherheit sowie Qualitätsmanagement. Sie coachen und führen Ihr Team, um die täglichen Ziele zu erreichen, und überwachen gleichzeitig die Leistung anhand von kundenspezifischen KPIs. Ihre Aufgaben Führung von Fachkräften, einschließlich operativer Mitarbeitender sowie Teamleitern/Supervisors Anpassung von Abteilungsplänen und Prioritäten zur Bewältigung von Ressourcen- und operativen Herausforderungen Selbstständige Bearbeitung der meisten operativen Fragestellungen unter Berücksichtigung von Richtlinien, Prozessen und Geschäftsplänen; Einholung von Unterstützung bei komplexeren Themen Anwendung von Fachwissen zur Lösung typischer betrieblicher Herausforderungen Sicherstellung der Einhaltung standardisierter Prozesse sowie Eskalation von nicht standardisierten Problemen Kontinuierliche Optimierung bestehender operativer Prozesse und Systeme Sicherstellung eines reibungslosen Schichtübergangs sowie Optimierung der Kommunikation zwischen den Teams Sicherstellung täglicher Updates im Warehouse-Management-System (z. B.
