Field Application Engineer

About the role

Job Description Deliver application support and technical solutions for probe cards to customers across Singapore and overseas. Partner with the sales team to identify customer requirements and provide onsite support to resolve probe-related issues. Work closely with HQ counterparts to acquire knowledge of new products and technologies, and support customers in resolving probe card issues. Support customers throughout the full product development lifecycle, including evaluation, qualification, and mass production. Provide technical feedback to internal teams and ensure RMA probe cards undergo necessary repairs before being returned to customers. Work closely with customer product engineers to troubleshoot, validate, and ensure probe cards are production-ready. Participate in DOE projects at customer sites to enhance probe card testing performance. Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including HQ counterparts, to address diverse customer needs and ensure high customer satisfaction. Requirements & Qualifications Degree, Diploma, or ITI in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related discipline. Strong knowledge of electronic components and their applications. Demonstrated ability in analytical thinking and effective problem solving. Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain technical concepts to customers. Customer-focused, proactive, and equipped with a strong problem-solving mindset. Hands-on experience with PCBA-level components, connectors, wireless or electromechanical modules, and analog and digital applications is an added advantage.
