Your Role The Costing function plays a critical role in Brooks overall success and profitability by understanding each cost component of our products and developing tools and reporting to manage costs and identify opportunities to create efficiencies to optimize product margins. The Apparel Costing Manager, Asia is responsible for managing product cost development from concept through production across multiple apparel categories. In this role, you will be responsible for re-establishing the costing framework and structure for our Apparel product lines. This role partners closely with product development, sourcing, and Asia‑based vendor partners to ensure margin targets are achieved while maintaining product quality and operational efficiency. The position requires strong costing expertise, strong analytical, excellent negotiation and communication skills, and the ability to lead or collaborate with US teams supporting pre‑costing, production costing, and vendor costing data validation. The Apparel Costing Manager will also act as a consultant within Apparel Team by providing day to day costing expertise, identifying, prioritizing, and implementing cost savings initiatives to hit seasonal product target FOBs and Margin. In this role, you will also develop pre-costing tools and deliver training programs to Apparel Product Team in collaboration with Asia vendors to enable design for manufacturing and to achieve optimal product cost. Requirements

  • 5+ years of apparel development and costing experience with strong understanding of apparel construction, textiles, and production processes.
  • Strong analytical skills, proficient in Excel and margin analysis tools; experience with cost component breakdowns and margin reports.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and cross‑functional influencing skills.
  • Ability to work with Asia‑based factories and teams, with understanding of manufacturing cost structures and regional sourcing environments.
  • Experience working in a global sourcing organization with multi‑country vendor networks.
  • Background in finance, business, apparel production, or supply chain analytics.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to influence at all levels of the organization
  • Excellent communication skills Fluency in Mandarin (written and spoken) in both local language and English.
