About the role

You will serve as a Supervisory Logistics Management Specialist in the Sustainment Group, Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul Department of NAVAIRWARCENWPNDIV CHINA LAKE. Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-09-12) or pay band (NM-03) in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector in order to perform the duties of a Supervisory Logistics Management Specialist. Specialized experiences must include duties related to the following: (1) Repairing Joint Defense Ammunition (JDAM), Guided Bomb Unit (GBU), Weapons Containers, Aircraft Armament Equipment (AAE), and multiple types of Munition Handling Equipment (MHE); (2) Utilizing Ordnance Inventory System - Retail/Wholesale (OIS-R/W) software applications; (3) Performing work related to Optimize Performance Model (OPOM) process, Fiscal Year Defense Plan (FYDP), and Annual Overhead and Reimbursable Maintenance Budget process; (4) Performing work related to Contracts, Independent Government Cost Estimate (IGCE), Statements of Work (SOW) and the Rough Order of Magnitude (ROM) process; (5) Understanding maintenance engineering program requirements pertinent to the development of scheduled maintenance requirements; and (6) Writing and speaking, concisely and authoritatively, to report on progress and outcome of technical assignments and to present recommendations.
